Area Sales Representative – Nashville, TN

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow multiple beverage brands within an assigned territory. This role requires strong organizational skills, consistent account management, and proactive communication with both distributors and retail partners, and enjoys engaging directly with customers through in-store promotions and tastings.


We are a beverage company representing a portfolio of emerging and established brands across spirits, THC, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our focus is building strong relationships with distributors, retail accounts and bars / restaurants to drive brand growth and market presence. 

The Area Sales Representative will be responsible for the following: 

  • Manage and represent multiple beverage brands within assigned territory

  • Conduct daily retail account visits (on-premise and off-premise as applicable)

  • Build and maintain relationships with key buyers, managers, and decision-makers

  • Coordinate and execute sample deliveries to new and prospective accounts

  • Ensure proper POS (Point of Sale) placement, merchandising, and brand visibility

  • Maintain weekly communication with distributor partners regarding account performance, new placements, and promotions and programs

  • Participate in ride-along with distributor representatives

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive account growth

  • Track and report sales activity, account updates, and market feedback

  • Plan and execute engaging in-store tasting events on Friday and Saturday evenings

Job Requirements 

  • 1+ year experience in beverage sales (beer, wine, spirits, or related industry preferred)

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently

  • Comfortable working with multiple brands and priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to lift and transport product samples as needed

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Knowledge of the three-tier distribution system and existing relationships with local distributors or retail accounts

  • Experience with CRM tools or sales tracking systems

  • Be knowledgeable of Federal and State regulations as they pertain to the sale of alcoholic beverages

  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License, a safe driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes
